Modicon TSX Momentum PLC Modbus Programming Cable

Description

A Modicon Momentum Modbus Cable for Programming/Troubleshooting for the following Momentum Processor Adapters (CPUs); 171 CCS 700 00, 171 CCS 700 10, 171 CCS 760 00, 171 CCC 760 10, 171 CCS 780 00, and 171 CCC 780 10. The Cable includes 1 adapter, and one 14ft cable. The adapter is a Female DB9 to RJ45 which connects to your laptop. If your laptop doesn’t have a DB9 serial port, you will need to purchase a USB to Serial Adapter Cable which will provide you with a DB9 serial port. Then you can connect this adapter directly to it. Simply insert one end of the RJ45 Ethernet Cable into the back of the DB9 adapter and connect the other end of the Ethernet Cable directly into the Modbus Serial Com Port on the Momentum. The RJ45 Ethernet Cable is a straight through cable, and can be replaced by any straight through cable if additional length is needed (not to exceed 50ft).; The cable must be a straight through meaning pin 1 to pin 1 through pin 8 to pin 8. The setup of this cable and adapter reduces the quantity of cable gear you carry. I personally carry one straight through Ethernet cable and the adapter in a separate pouch in my laptop case. When I am plugging into an Ethernet network switch, I use this cable. When I need to connect to a Momentum Plc, I just pull out my adapter from my laptop bag, connect it to my Ethernet cable, and plug right into the Plc’s Modbus Serial Com Port!
