    Description

What a fantastic pair of small treasures from the 1970s! These petite embroideries measure 6" x 5" framed, each one depicting a tree, worked in shades of brown and white on natural-colored linen. The stitching is done in exacting and beautiful detail.
I especially love the one with the poofy 3D stitches resembling tiny pom-pom blossoms on its tree. Neither is signed.
Embroideries are in clean, beautiful condition. Wooden frames are solid. No chips or cracks, but some wear and aging to the finish.
As you can see from the photos, the person who made these used masking tape on the back to finish them. I really wish people wouldn't do that, but it was pretty common back then.
