Up for sale is a  completed, hand crafted Vintage Crewel from the JCA Elsa Williams  Collection adapted from an illustration by Bessie Pease Guttman. Her signature appears on the right left. The title of this is HAPPY DREAMS.
With colorart, the design is printed onto fabric. Then the picture has crewel stitches to enhance the baby's clothing and teddy bear. The embroidery is done with 100% wool yarn.
The colors are so delicate.  The fabric  is stretched and mounted onto plywood backing and has a lovely mat.. It is 14 x 18 and is ready a frame of your choice.
This item was model for the kit and based on the item number this dates to the 1980s or 1990s and has been in storage for many years by the kit manufacturer. This model was probably used to show prospective buyers how it might look when completed or used as a sales model for craft stores.
